Conferences of any shape and size – Palace of Culture and Science
The tallest building in Poland, situated in the very heart of the city and competing with the Warsaw Mermaid as the symbol of the Capital. With 44 floors and over 237 metres high (with a 43 metre tall spire), this epic building, opened to the public in 1955 as a cultural hub, still has the upper hand on all of its modern neighbours. Although its claim to beauty may divide opinion, its role as a leading conference and exhibition centre is well established and fully deserved. With its thousands of square metres of exhibitions and conferences space (can comfortably accommodate 4,500 participants) it is the biggest congress location in Warsaw.
